photo Miss Jenny

Mind Games founder, Jenny Levin, M.S., is an educator at heart.  After receiving her Master's degree in Elementary Education from Nova Southeastern University, she spent ten years teaching for the School Board of Broward County.  During those years, Jenny acted as Director of After School Programs, Teacher's Union Representative, Grade Chairperson and New Educator Support Coach.

After years of working in the field of education, Jenny decided to bring her knowledge and passion for intelligent play to elementary school children.  She is excited and proud to offer her original and research-based enrichment program, Mind Games!

Ana Solanki graduated from the University of Central Florida with a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. In addition, she is NCME Montessori Certified. Ana is from Palm Beach and has been teaching locally for 20 years. Prior to having children, she ventured out to London, England to teach Kindergarten for two years.  Having the opportunity to learn another country's teaching methods has been in invaluable experience.  Ana has been a stay at home mom of 2 children for the past several years and is ready to bring her talents back into the classroom. She is a strong believer in playing with a purpose to educate.

Cheryl received her B.S. in Psychology from York College of Pennsylvania.  She worked with mentally ill adults for several years before leaving to start her own family.  Cheryl has been actively involved for the past 10 years at Panther Run Elementary and Polo Park Middle School.  She has been a PTA memeber in many capacities as well as Room Parent volunteer.  Cheryl is looking forward to being back in the elementary school setting, working with children and being a part of the Mind Games team!

Dori Tarakan received her B.A. in Psychology from the University of Maryland and her M.S. in Childhood Education and Special Education from LIU Post. Dori grew up in New York and moved to South Florida in May 2018. She worked in a preschool for children with Autism and other developmental disabilities. She also worked for a tutoring company in New York as a reading and writing specialist. Here she helped students of all ages in various subjects particularly reading, writing, study, and organizational skills, as well as SAT and ACT exam prep. She has experience in STEM education and has led activities both in the school and tutoring programs. Dori is excited to bring her passion for teaching and learning through hands-on experience to children through Mind Games!

Geoffrey Campbell has 6+ years of experience working with students from kindergarten to college. He earned his B.S. in Biology from Florida Atlantic University in 2012, and completed his M.S. in 2016 in Health Sciences at Drexel University in Philadelphia. Equipped with a strong background in STEM, Geoff enjoys helping students discover their love of Science and Math, especially with bright-eyed elementary school students!
Since graduating from FAU, Geoff has been a math and behavior interventionist, a science and math tutor, a bilingual paraprofessional, and a certified Biology teacher. He is interested in many mind games such as chess, sudoku, and the infamous wooden peg game (often seen at Cracker Barrel). We are extremely excited to have him as a part of our team!

Kari attended Adelphi University in NY and worked as an event planner for many years. She is the proud mother of two active teenage boys. While raising her children, Kari has been an active member of the PTA, School Advisory Committee and a volunteer at her children’s schools and in her community.  Kari, along with her husband and children, have always been big fans of game nights. She has frequently used games while working with her kids when they were younger to promote specific skills. Kari is excited to bring those years of experience into the Mind Games classroom.

Michele is a Florida certified teacher in the areas of Math and Art, with English Language Learner and Gifted endorsements. She has successfully taught math, STEAM, science, reading and art for the past 10 years in Broward County. In addition to her teaching experience, she has degrees and experience in Marketing (Bachelor's degree from Hofstra University) and Advertising Design (Associates Degree from The Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale).  She recently moved to Palm Beach County and is looking forward to being a part of Mind Games.

Sari Myers is a recently retired veteran educator with 36 years of experience with the Palm Beach County School District. She has been a Special Education teacher, a General Education teacher, an Assistant Principal and for the last 18 years an Elementary School Principal. Sari piloted the STEAM program at Hidden Oaks Elementary School, and it is now one of the District’s most coveted choice programs. Sari believes that it is our job as educators to continue to remind children that there are no obstacles, only opportunities and even if you can’t do something yet, you have the opportunity to stretch your mind so you can achieve any goal you set for yourself. Mrs. Myers is looking forward to bringing this Growth Mindset to her classes. She is excited to embark on this new adventure with children.

Shanon is a caring and compassionate professional who spent many years working with children from K-12. She is also a mom of two and worked as a youth counselor for more than a decade. Most recently, she volunteered for a non-profit organization that provides a free day camp for children with autism spectrum disorder.  
Shanon enjoys interacting with children of all ages and is looking forward to utilizing her classroom background, creative insight and warm personality to create a stimulating, fun and educational experience with the Mind Games students. When she is not teaching, Shanon is an artistic portrait photographer capturing the smiles and giggles of children and families.
photo Miss Sheri

Sheri has always had a passion for children, teaching, and helping others.  Sheri earned her teaching certification in French, grades K-12, and she has over ten years' experience teaching in the private and public school sectors.  She has served as chairperson of the French department and as sponsor for numerous clubs, including National French Honor Society, French Club, Cancer Awareness Society, National Junior Honor Society and Environmental Club.  

Sheri is dynamic in the classroom and enjoys utilizing her background as a dancer, actress and clown to engage students and create a stimulating, fun-loving learning environment.
