photo Miss Jenny

Mind Games founder, Jenny Levin, M.S., is an educator at heart.  After receiving her Master's degree in Elementary Education from Nova Southeastern University, she spent ten years teaching for the School Board of Broward County.  During those years, Jenny acted as Director of After School Programs, Teacher's Union Representative, Grade Chairperson and New Educator Support Coach.

After years of working in the field of education, Jenny decided to bring her knowledge and passion for intelligent play to elementary school children.  She is excited and proud to offer her original and research-based enrichment program, Mind Games!

Alli Lazarus is a South Florida native that graduated from FSU with a degree in Child Development. She has experience working with students from Pre-K to college. One of her favorite things to do growing up was playing creative thinking games with her family and friends and she is excited to share that passion with her Mind Games students. In her free time, you will often find Alli volunteering for many different organizations in our community. 

 

     
photo Miss Cheryl

Cheryl received her B.S. in Psychology from York College of Pennsylvania.  She worked with mentally ill adults for several years before leaving to start her own family.  Cheryl has been actively involved for the past 10 years at Panther Run Elementary and Polo Park Middle School.  She has been a PTA memeber in many capacities as well as Room Parent volunteer.  Cheryl is looking forward to being back in the elementary school setting, working with children and being a part of the Mind Games team! 

     
photo Dr. Debbie

Dr. Debbie received her Bachelor’s degree in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, her Master’s in International Studies from the University of Denver, and her Ph.D. in Policy Analysis from the RAND Graduate School in Santa Monica, CA.  While writing her dissertation, she began tutoring students for the SAT and ACT, and discovered her passion for teaching.  She has been a private tutor since 1994, and a classroom teacher in both Social Science and Math at the collegiate and secondary levels since 1996.  Debbie is committed to helping her students develop critical thinking and logical reasoning skills, and is excited to be able to facilitate that through intelligent play at Mind Games!

Miss Michelle is a devoted educator with 15 years of experience in classroom instruction, curriculum design and STEM programs. She studied early childhood and elementary education at Indian River State College. Michelle enjoys fostering a love of learning through exploration, creative thinking and problem solving skills. She is excited to join our team and bring her passion for educating young minds.

Miss Rachel graduated from Abilene Christian University, where she played soccer and earned a Bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education in 2016. She relocated to West Palm Beach in January of 2017 in order to pursue her Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy at Palm Beach Atlantic University. Rachel also serves as one of the Assistant coaches for the women’s soccer team a PBA. With a wide variety of classroom and coaching experiences, Rachel is excited to bring all of her adventures into the classroom and cultivate an encouraging and of course, FUN environment!

Shanna's passion has always been working with people. She holds a certification as a Holistic Life Coach where she developed a love and appreciation for Meditation. Teaching others how to implement their abilities with confidence and bring out the best of themselves is her motivation and purpose.  She feels that teaching Mind Games will do just that. She has seen first hand how game play brings out our natural abilities and strengths.  Shortly after relocating to Florida, Shanna became inspired to explore new ground as a creative writer-author of "Poetic Love Frenzy." Shanna has a passion and love for all that she does and puts forth every effort into teaching people of all ages. Her belief is that through our natural abilities, children and adults alike, can be confident to walk with purpose and a great amount of self worth.

Sheri has always had a passion for children, teaching, and helping others.  Sheri earned her teaching certification in French, grades K-12, and she has over ten years' experience teaching in the private and public school sectors.  She has served as chairperson of the French department and as sponsor for numerous clubs, including National French Honor Society, French Club, Cancer Awareness Society, National Junior Honor Society and Environmental Club.  

Sheri is dynamic in the classroom and enjoys utilizing her background as a dancer, actress and clown to engage students and create a stimulating, fun-loving learning environment.
